Clinical Supervisor – Supportive Housing

Location: Central Harlem, New York, NY
Salary: $75,000 annually
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
Schedule: 35 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with a supportive housing program in Central Harlem. The program provides supportive housing services to adults experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including individuals with HIV/AIDS, serious mental illness (SMI), and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and support to program staff

• Conduct mental health assessments and ensure client charts and documentation remain current

• Monitor client progress and review documentation for accuracy and compliance

• Conduct chart audits and ensure data integrity

• Assist with client intake, assessments, and service planning

• Support programming related to housing, mental health, substance use, and employment

• Assist with critical incidents and resolution of program-related concerns

• Conduct staff supervision and assist with performance improvement plans and evaluations

• Participate in meetings and prepare required reports

• Maintain professional relationships with clients while ensuring HIPAA, privacy, and program compliance

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. An applicable professional license is required for designated master’s-level disciplines, including LMSW/LCSW, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling/Guidance, or Art Therapy.

Compensation:

This is a full-time, 35-hour-per-week temp-to-perm opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
