Job Details:
Our Clinical Nursing Supervisor will:
- Manage daily clinical nursing operations to ensure the hospital standards and needs are met.
- Be responsible for preparation and evaluation of nursing staff activities and schedules to ensure 24 hour coverage.
- Serve as the managerial and clinical link between the Nurse Manager and/or Department Director in their absence and the administrator on call
- Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.
What you’ll bring:
- Passion for Nursing Leadership
- 3+ Years acute care clinical RN experience
- Prior house-wide Nursing Supervision experience preferred; critical care/emergency nursing experience preferred
- 2-5+ Years leadership/healthcare management experience preferred
- Knowledge of hospital and nursing policies and procedures, as well as regulatory agency requirements, and establishment of staffing patterns and schedules.
- Candidate must be able to handle stressful situations, and exercise considerable judgement in applying professional knowledge in solving administrative/operational problems.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
- Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
Posted Salary Range:
USD $56.00 - USD $69.00 /Hr.
