Responsibilities:
  • Manages EPIC system applications in the areas of ongoing user support/training, dictionary, maintenance, system enhancements, problem analysis, resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Works with vendors and other IT staff to coordinate hardware installation, maintain and oversee changes, corrections, enhancement to the Clinical Systems.
  • Acts as a liaison for Departments for Clinical System issues.
Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience

  1. High School Diploma required or equivalent required.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Healthcare field, Business Discipline, Healthcare Management, Health Information management or Information Science or equivalent experience preferred.
  3. Current and valid RN License preferred.
  4. 2 years work experience in a hospital setting required.
  5. Clinical experience preferred.
  6. Interpersonal skills necessary to deal with and establish working relationships with physicians, hospital personnel and co-workers.
