Position Overview
Kings View is seeking a Clinical Team Supervisor II to oversee clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide independent clinical supervision in accordance with Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements.
This leadership role is responsible for clinical oversight of AOT services, supervision of associate-level staff, approval of clinical documentation, and maintaining program quality, audit readiness, and adherence to all Medi-Cal, DHCS, and county contract standards. The position also plays a key role in supporting program development, staff training, and implementation of service delivery expectations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide independent clinical supervision to associate-level staff in accordance with BBS requirements
  • Oversee clinical service delivery for AOT clients, including high-acuity and court-involved populations
  • Review, approve, and sign off on clinical documentation to ensure compliance with Medi-Cal, DHCS, and county standards
  • Monitor productivity, documentation quality, and overall program compliance
  • Provide clinical consultation and leadership in complex or high-risk situations, including crisis intervention
  • Lead audits, chart reviews, and corrective action planning to support program quality and audit readiness
  • Support onboarding, training, and development of staff, including EHR use, documentation standards, and Medi-Cal billing requirements
  • Collaborate with courts, county partners, and community providers
  • Support program implementation and ongoing development, including alignment with contract and regulatory expectations
  • Partner with leadership on staffing, operations, and program needs
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications:
•    Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field
•    Current California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist)
•    Meets BBS supervision requirements
•    Valid CA Driver’s License (if driving required)
Required Experience:
•    Minimum two (2) years post-licensure clinical experience
•    Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience
•    Strong knowledge of Medi-Cal, DHCS, and county contract standards
•    Experience working with high-acuity or court-involved populations
Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience in AOT or similar programs
•    Public behavioral health experience
•    Audit / QA experience
•    Bilingual/Bicultural preferred
Key Skills
•    Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex cases
•    Knowledge of crisis intervention, risk assessment, and de-escalation techniques
•    Experience working within an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
•    Ability to train and support staff in documentation standards and workflows
•    Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
