Clinical Therapist - Community-Based Counselor

Up to $62,500 in State Incentives

This position may be eligible for the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program, offering up to $12,500 per year for up to 5 years. Candidates must apply for funds by June 30th, and be hired by August 1st. Eligibility, funding, and final award amounts are determined by the program and are not guaranteed.

What You'll Do

• Build collaborative relationships with families, youth, schools, and other key professionals
• Support families with youth engaging in problematic or high-risk behaviors
• Use clinical skills to help families overcome complex life challenges
• Deliver services within the structured Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model
• Benefit from strong support, training, and supervision provided through MST
• Apply a variety of therapeutic approaches and counseling techniques as clinically appropriate
• Work as part of a coordinated system of care focused on lasting, real-world change

What You Bring

• Master's degree in counseling psychology, social work, or related field
• Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) or Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) eligible
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Commitment to ethical, client-centered care

Requirements

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
• Nebraska licensure (LMHP/LIMHP or PLMHP eligibility)
