    Summary of Position:
    Oversee the initial training and any continuing education of all clinical and ASC Medical Assistants and Front Desk Receptionist across the company. Monitor work of Medical Assistants, Pre-Op Assistants, Lab Collectors, Front Desk Receptionist, and Fluoro Techs to ensure all daily tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Communicate with the Operations Managers, Providers, Regional Supervisors, and Lead Medical Assistants for efficiency and flow of the clinic and ASC
     
    This job is a full-time, benefited position at Summit Spine & Joint Centers that reports to the Director of Clinical Operations. This position’s primary locations will be for Coastal region

    Clinic locations (see below) and is subject to change based on coverage/business needs, and ASC operating hours.  

     Coastal Region areas: Fayetteville NC, Supply NC, and Jacksonville, NC.
     
    Responsibilities
    Train staff on all aspects of their role from a clinical perspective
    Audit work of staff, especially new hires, for accuracy and to identify any retraining needs.
    Retrain staff as necessary
    Continually improve training strategies, methods, and materials to increase the overall effectiveness of the staff
    Working with HR and the Operations team to develop, input, and execute on the weekly staffing schedule for the team
    Ensure clinic and ASC spaces are appropriately staffed for the day
    Monitor staff attendance and performance
    Coordinate quarterly clinical staff meetings
    Update, maintain, and continue to improve the Medical Assistant Manual
    Revamp training plan and protocols for Medical Assistants
    Other duties as assigned

    Skills And Abilities
     
    Cohesive leadership and customer service skills required.
    Ability to become a core trainer and super user of EHR (E Clinical Works).
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to read, write, and speak in English fluently.  Multi-Lingual is appreciated.
    Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to address issues with staff.
    Ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff.
    This role requires the ability to travel throughout the State of North Carolina and training in Georgia.
    Emotional intelligence and manner while assessing performance of employees/performance standards, implementing change, ensuring accountability, and rewarding achievement. 
     
    Education And Experience
     
    Exerience using eClinicalWorks required
    Minimum 1-year clinical experience required
    Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

The employee must maintain professional composure and consistently perform assigned duties throughout the scheduled work period; manage routine workplace stressors and feedback without disrupting patient care, patient-facing operations, or coworkers’ work; and use established de-escalation and escalation procedures when appropriate. The employee must exercise sound judgment; maintain appropriate workplace boundaries; receive and respond to routine feedback and direction; protect confidential patient and business information; and address patient or workplace concerns through established supervisory and safety procedures. These functions are essential to the position.
