Clinician – Family and Community Based Services   

Family and Community Based Services provide individualized, child-centered and family friendly supports to help families with children ages 4-17 who have significant emotional, behavioral or mental health challenges. Clinicians provide assessment, in-home family support, crisis intervention and advocacy to help families access needed services and supports. Consider this position if you have a Master's Degree, are licensed/license eligible, and have use of a personal vehicle with an acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate care and treatment of children with emotional and behavioral challenges and their families.
  • Develop treatment plans, complete clinical assessments, make treatment recommendations, referrals and plan for discharge.
  • Provide in home clinical support and assist families to address behavioral challenges with the goal of restoring family autonomy.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Community Mental Health or Human Services
  • 3-5 years' experience working with children and families with emotional and behavioral disabilities, care coordination and knowledge of community resources.
  • License/License Eligible (see Licensing Requirements Notice below)
  • Use of a personal vehicle

Licensing Requirement Notice:

Vermont regulation mandates that if you do not hold a valid license then you must be on the Roster of Nonlicensed & Noncertified Psychotherapists before you can be hired for work in this position. If you are not yet on the Roster, please begin the process immediately to avoid delay in hiring. Note this process may take 3-5 days for in-state applications and up to several weeks for out-of-state applications. Instructions can be found on the website for the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation.

Structure:

  • Full-time
  • AFSCME Union (dues will apply)
  • Annual salary starting at $57,314.71 (Non-Licensed) $61,269.43 (Licensed). Pro-rated for part-time.
