Closet Installer

WORK PERFORMED AT OFFICE/SHOP LOCATION

• Receive delivered shelving and accessories from supplier.  Assist with unloading into storage area.
• Check delivered material for damages and confirm that the delivered material is stored and checked against the order.
• Assemble each closet order and design and prepare for installation.  This includes using a cordless drill,a table saw and chop saw.  Use hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers, level, hammer, etc) to assemble parts.
• Stage completed shelving and closet orders for installation.
• Lifting shelves, and other parts during pre-installation and loading.
• Work under the direction of the lead installer.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Work in a safe manner at all times.

WORK PERFORMED AT JOBSITE

• Load completed shelving and closet orders onto a cargo van and delivered to the job site.
• Deliver and install shelving and closet material.  Installation includes assembling parts to each other and to the wall using screws and hanging the shelving units.  Tools required include a screwdriver, cordless drill, vibrating saw, and table saw.
• Clean shelving and work area, return tools and parts to van and return to office.
• Professional and courteous attitude are required.
• No smoking

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Lifting, handling, and moving of storage components. 
• Ability to read and understand closet plans and designs. 
• Ability to use a tape measure, miter saw, hand saws, woodworking tools.
• Ability to represent yourself as a professional (appearance and actions).
• Ability to work with other installers and take directions to complete the work.
• Non-Smoker

HOURS 

• 40 hours per week, typical
• Hours are generally 8-4.
• Work days are M-F.   Business is generally closed on major holidays.
• Paid Time Off (waiting period). Paid Holidays (waiting period).
• Pay Rate - Hourly
