Cloud Architect opportunity in
Charleston, West Virginia.DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesDesign & Architecture: Build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud landing zones and environments.
Migration & Modernization: Lead the movement of legacy systems and data from on-premises data centers to the cloud.
Governance & Security: Implement security controls, IAM policies, and compliance guardrails (such as NIST or RMF).
Cost Optimization: Manage cloud spending models and resource efficiency. [1, 2]
Required Skills & QualificationsPlatform Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP services.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Experience: Typically 6 to 10+ years in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or cloud engineering.
Certifications: Often requests AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Expert credentials.Cloud Architect must have a minimum of five years (5) of experience in Cloud Architecture including designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions.
