About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Cloud Architect Contractor to join our client's team in the technology sector. In this role, you will contribute to designing and implementing cloud solutions that align with business and technical requirements, developing cloud architecture strategies and plans, and ensuring compliance with best practices and standards for cloud security, performance, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure, including network design, security configurations, and cloud services.
• Evaluate and select appropriate cloud technologies and tools to meet project needs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of cloud solutions.
• Ensure compliance with best practices and standards for cloud security, performance, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Data Architect skillset with experience in GCP/Google Cloud.
• 6-9 years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Experience with Google Stack for Data & Analytics landscape assessment.
• Local to Houston to facilitate potential client visits.
