Cloud, Data Center & Edge Infrastructure Lead - R-07A

Role purpose

Lead cloud, sovereign-cloud, data-center and edge-infrastructure opportunity assessment across Europe and Eurasia, integrating site, power, cooling, connectivity, cybersecurity, reliability, operations, lifecycle cost and implementation decisions.

Representative assignment problems

Assess data-center sites, power/cooling constraints, capacity, tier/reliability, connectivity and physical resilience.

Compare public, private, hybrid and sovereign-cloud options, including migration, interoperability, data residency and vendor-lock-in risks.

Develop phased architectures, CAPEX/OPEX assumptions, operating models, TOR tasks, budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

Produce concise, evidence-traceable inputs for Preliminary Assessments, Project Reports, TORs, independent budgets, schedules and the cumulative Final Report.

Participate in rapid mobilization, remote analysis, quality reviews and international travel when assigned.

Coordinate across technical, country, finance, export, resilience and editorial disciplines; surface contradictions and uncertainties early.

Protect Government, sponsor, customer and candidate information; immediately disclose actual, potential or apparent conflicts.

Minimum evidence-based qualifications

10+ years leading cloud, data-center, edge or mission-critical digital-infrastructure assignments.

Named projects with capacity, availability, power/cooling, cost, cybersecurity or migration outcomes.

Direct experience producing architecture alternatives, feasibility assessments, implementation roadmaps or TOR/SOW products.

Public-sector, international-development or Europe/Eurasia experience preferred.

U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident; Axyde will request written confirmation but not identity documents during recruiting.

Ability to support proposal or delivery activity on approximately 20 days' notice, subject to assignment timing.

Strong written English and ability to produce concise Government decision products.

Willingness and ability to travel internationally, including up to three trips of up to ten business days when assigned.
