We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and be proficient in data engineering tools and practices including data pipelines, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
Design and implement scalable and secure cloud-based data architectures.
Build and maintain efficient data pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
Develop ETL/ELT solutions to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and application developers to support data needs.
Optimize data storage, access, and retrieval for performance and cost efficiency.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security through proper data governance and monitoring.
Automate data workflows and implement CI/CD for data engineering processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot production data systems to ensure reliability and uptime.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
Experience with data processing tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, or Databricks.
Proficiency in SQL and working with relational/non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
Familiarity with cloud-native data tools like AWS Glue, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Data Factory.
Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices for CI/CD in cloud environments.
Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics), Azure, or GCP.
Experience with data warehousing solutions.
Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture best practices.
Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
