Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Platform Automation Developer to design, develop, and maintain software solutions, integrations, and automation workflows for an enterprise private cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have strong software development skills, particularly in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript, along with hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, REST APIs, systems integration, and enterprise platform engineering.

The role involves collaborating with infrastructure architects and engineers to develop scalable, reliable, and production-ready automation solutions across ServiceNow, Terraform, Ansible, monitoring platforms, and infrastructure provisioning systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain platform automation services using Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Build REST API-based integrations, orchestration services, and event-driven workflows.
• Develop ServiceNow integrations involving Service Catalog, APIs, and workflow automation.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git/GitOps workflows.
• Build automation and orchestration solutions for virtual machine and Kubernetes provisioning.
• Integrate CMDB, DCIM, inventory, and asset management systems.
• Develop monitoring and event integrations with Dynatrace or comparable platforms.
• Automate incident management, change management, and operational workflows.
• Support Day-0 through Day-N infrastructure onboarding, provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle operations.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to translate technical requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Ensure automation services meet enterprise standards for reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on development experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience building API-driven integrations, event-driven architectures, and automated workflows.
• Practical experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with ServiceNow APIs, Service Catalog, and workflow integrations.
• Experience with Git, GitOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing automation and orchestration solutions for infrastructure platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems integration and software engineering best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with message queues and event-driven integration patterns.
• Experience automating VM and Kubernetes provisioning.
• Experience integrating CMDB, DCIM, inventory, and asset management systems.
• Experience developing inventory synchronization services.
• Experience integrating Dynatrace or other enterprise monitoring platforms.
• Experience automating incident, change, and operational management processes.
• Experience with Day-0 through Day-N infrastructure automation.
• Previous experience supporting private cloud or enterprise infrastructure platforms.
