Cloud DevSecOps Engineer III
Atlanta, GA or Birmingham, AL preferred- (Hybrid- onsite 3 days per week) 5-month contract
Pay Rate: $70.00 - $75.00per hr.
We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevSecOps Engineer III to support the development, configuration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of backend process APIs. This role will focus heavily on CI/CD, API deployment, DevSecOps, security, environment configuration, and release management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Harness and GitHub Actions/Workflows, as well as experience supporting APIs running in OpenShift.
The engineer will work closely with development, security, infrastructure, and other technology teams to coordinate deployments, remediate vulnerabilities, maintain environments, and ensure applications are ready for release.
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for backend process APIs.
Develop and maintain deployment pipelines using Harness.
Build and maintain GitHub Actions / GitHub Workflows for application builds and deployments.
Support API configuration management across multiple environments.
Manage and perform certificate rotation and renewal, including annual certificate updates.
Maintain service accounts and coordinate annual credential rotations.
Support vulnerability remediation, including tracking vulnerabilities through closure and coordinating with third-party and internal teams.
Perform environment setup and readiness activities for API deployments.
Support Vault integration and secrets management.
Assist with infrastructure requests, including provisioning new servers and coordinating with infrastructure teams.
Develop and maintain release pipelines, release playbooks, and runbooks.
Plan, coordinate, and support application releases and deployments.
Work closely with development, security, infrastructure, online banking, mobile banking, and other technology teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve DevSecOps and deployment-related issues.
Support APIs running in OpenShift environments.
Help ensure applications and environments meet security and operational requirements.
