About the Role
This position focuses on managing how devices, identities, and access are handled across a modern cloud environment. The role is heavily centered around endpoint management, mobile security, and access controls, with a strong connection to Microsoft cloud platforms.
You'll be working in an environment where users operate across multiple devices and locations, so maintaining both security and usability is a key part of the job.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage and configure endpoint management solutions across mobile and desktop environments
- Apply and maintain policies that govern device security, application access, and data protection
- Support identity and access controls, including authentication methods and access rules
- Troubleshoot issues related to device management, application access, and cloud connectivity
- Work with internal teams to align configurations with security and compliance expectations
- Support messaging and collaboration services, including configuration and issue resolution
- Assist with migrations and updates tied to cloud-based platforms
- Monitor system behavior and performance, identifying and addressing issues as they arise
- Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps for operational use
- Stay current with platform updates and recommend improvements where appropriate
Background We're Looking For
- Experience working with Microsoft cloud environments in a hands-on capacity
- Strong familiarity with endpoint management and mobile device platforms
- Experience supporting identity and access management, including authentication and policy controls
- Understanding of security practices related to device management and data protection
- Experience supporting enterprise messaging and collaboration tools
- Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell or similar)
- Comfortable working in environments with strict security and compliance requirements
Technology Environment
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Identity platforms (Entra ID / Azure AD or similar)
- Endpoint and device management (Intune or comparable tools)
- Mobile device platforms (iOS, Android)
- Access and authentication controls (MFA, conditional access)
- Security tooling for endpoint and cloud environments
- Automation and scripting using PowerShell
