Job Summary

The Cloud Engineer 4 is a senior technical role responsible for the administration, operation, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement of large-scale cloud environments. The role combines hands-on cloud and network engineering with technical leadership, security administration, application support, and performance optimization across enterprise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

·   Administer, operate, maintain, and secure large-scale cloud computing environments.

·   Lead or supervise technical activities related to cloud infrastructure, systems, and network services.

·   Test, implement, and support PC/LAN technologies and cloud-based system applications.

·   Administer cloud networking, telecommunications, firewalls, Windows Server environments, and TCP/IP technologies, including IPv4 and IPv6.

·   Administer cloud management protocols and related standard management tools.

·   Support and administer cloud-based application and infrastructure services, including Exchange, Oracle, DNS, DNSSEC, DHCP, and Internet domain naming and registration services.

·   Manage cloud telecommunications and security issues in accordance with established security practices.

·   Evaluate cloud networks and environments, identify deficiencies, and recommend performance and reliability improvements.

Requirements

·   10 years of experience in a large organization administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale cloud computer network.

·   5 years of experience in a technical leadership or supervisory role.

·   5 years of experience testing and implementing PC/LAN technologies and cloud system applications.

·   5 years of cloud administration experience in a large organization or corporation.

·   5 years of experience with cloud computer network telecommunications, firewalls, Windows Server operating systems, and TCP/IP protocols (IPv4 and IPv6).

·   5 years of experience administering cloud management protocols and related standard tools.

·   5 years of experience with cloud-based application software and services such as Exchange, Oracle, DNS, DNSSEC, DHCP, and Internet-based domain naming services and registration processes.

·   5 years of experience managing cloud telecommunications, cloud computer security issues, and established security practices.

·   5 years of experience evaluating cloud networks, identifying deficiencies, and recommending performance improvements.

Must hold an active cloud technical certification, such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Advanced Networking
