Position Title: Cloud Engineer Expert
Location: Raleigh NC, 27610 (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
Client’s Infrastructure Team is seeking a Cloud Engineer Expert that will support the ongoing cloud infrastructure build. The primary focus is to help Client understand the architecture and be a bridge between Client and the vendors with their knowledge of Cloud infrastructure networking, storage and security. The complexity of these responsibilities is essential to Client to support the building of the Azure tenant from scratch so that systems can be placed in the cloud. Client and vendors have an aggressive schedule to get this done to support the modernization efforts.

Key Role/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing and developing software solutions for cloud based operating systems
• Builds and maintains infrastructure as code (IaC) using DevOps methodology and versioning with a descriptive model to define and deploy infrastructure, such as networks, virtual machines, load balancers, and connection topologies.
• Providing a reliable and scalable platform for developers to build and deploy applications.
• Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cloud network infrastructure including the deployment and configuration of cloud-based network solutions to ensure high performance, reliability, and security.
   

Required skills/Tools:

• 7 Years of Thorough knowledge of DevOps principles and practices and tools.
• 7 Years of Thorough knowledge of cloud infrastructure best practices, including security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• 7 Years of Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• 7 Years of Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
