    Description

    RiVidium is seeking a Cloud Engineer (Innovation) to support our planned MODES III team supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role supports IT, Cybersecurity, and Data Operations - Modernization & Innovation and helps deliver mission-focused outcomes for service members, families, and related stakeholders. Executes PWS C.5.3.11 cloud operations with privileged access; provisions and configures secure environments, supports RMF control execution and ATO sustainment, and maintains 24/7 service availability through monitoring, patching, and incident response. This position is contingent upon contract award.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support innovation-focused cloud engineering activities that improve security, scalability, and platform performance.
    • Support provisioning, monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, and operational continuity.
    • Coordinate with security and engineering teams to maintain a secure and reliable cloud environment.
    • Contribute to automation, documentation, and continuous improvement of cloud operations.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
    • Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Mid (5-8 yrs).
    • Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role. For IT and cybersecurity workforce positions, applicable DoD 8140 training and certification requirements will apply upon award.
    • Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills in a mission-focused delivery environment.
    • Hands-on experience with tools, platforms, or engineering practices relevant to the role.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with cloud-native engineering, application delivery, automation, or reliability engineering, as applicable to the role.
    • Familiarity with secure software delivery, testing, DevSecOps, or performance engineering practices.
    • Experience supporting modernization efforts in regulated or mission-critical environments.

    Work Setting

    This role is expected to support work in the Alexandria, Virginia area, with on-site support at the DoD Mark Center or other customer-approved locations as required. Hybrid support in the Alexandria, Virginia area is expected, with on-site support as required by the customer.
