Cloud Network Engineer

Cloud network engineering team started about 2 years ago- Previously two teams that combined into this org
- Azure/AWS environment, all customer focused
- WAF configuration and customer environment support
This team has few different responsibilities- CloudFlare; heavily used
- Cloud DevOps: GitHub, Terraform, Python
- Palo Alto and Azure Firewalls: updating firewall rules, upgrading FWs
- Load Balancing: AWS load balances and moving to Azure Load balancers
- Network Security and MSG
- Azure DNS
- Automation: python & Github
Goal for these roles:- Improve automated tasks and efficiency to stabilize environments prior to future initiatives and improvements
- FEDRAMP prep
Background:- A background/combo in Network and DevOps is a must
- Doesn t matter where they start and ended in experience but must have both
- Must be USC due to FEDRAMP and FTE
On Call:- team of 5 people for FEDRAMP (evenings and weekends)
- First customer wont come until 2027
