Integrate network infrastructure into CI/CD pipelines, enabling automated deployment, validation, and rollback

Configure and support Fortinet firewall platforms in cloud and hybrid environments, in alignment with security and compliance standards

Collaborate with security, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure network designs meet security, availability, and performance requirements

Produce and maintain clear technical documentation and diagrams using Visio, Lucidchart, and standard MS Office tools

Participate in incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action planning related to network and connectivity issues

Support cross-discipline initiatives, ensuring alignment between cloud engineering, delivery, and support teams

Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and cost optimization in cloud networking

Support different teams and organizations as they migrate to the cloud.

Skills

Strong hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating AWS networking services, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, routing, and hybrid connectivity

Working knowledge of Cloud WAN architectures; including multi-region, segmented, and hub-and-spoke designs

Experience with VPN technologies, including site-to-site and client VPNs, and integration with on‑premises networks

Infrastructure as Code expertise using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation templates

Operational experience with Fortinet firewalls, including policy design, routing, and troubleshooting in hybrid cloud environments

Excellent soft skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Detail-oriented, action-focused, and comfortable working in highly regulated, enterprise environments

Proficient in leveraging generative AI to accelerate development workflows and continuous learning, with experience using GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Claude.

Soft Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex network and cloud concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams, including security, cloud engineering, application, and operations groups

Comfortable operating in highly regulated, enterprise environments with formal change management and governance processes

Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and sound judgment when responding to incidents, escalations, and production issues

Able to balance multiple priorities, shifting between project delivery and operational support as business needs require

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a structured approach to troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Professional presence when interacting with internal leadership, vendors, and external partners

Adaptable and open to continuous learning as cloud platforms, tooling, and architectures evolve

Ability to work and collaborate remotely with teams across different cultures and backgrounds.

Strong judgment in assessing AI-generated output—able to distinguish low-quality, generic responses from high-quality, grounded answers by validating assumptions, requesting sources, and verifying accuracy before use.

Qualifications

Experience working in large, distributed enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and strict change management processes

Ability to navigate complex organizations and build strong working relationships across teams
