Cloud Operations Engineer (Hybrid, 24/7 Environment) for a remote role

Role: Cloud Operations Engineer (Hybrid, 24/7 Environment)

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Type: Contract - Remote

We are looking for a Senior IT Operations professional with strong experience in monitoring, incident management, and automation within hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor applications and infrastructure using tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, and Azure Monitor. Configure and tune dashboards, alerts, and performance baselines. Act as Incident Coordinator during major incidents (P1/P2), including running bridge calls and documenting timelines. Drive fast incident detection, escalation, and resolution. Support root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews. Develop and maintain SOPs, knowledge articles, and operational documentation. Identify recurring issues and build automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow. Track operational KPIs such as MTTD, MTTR, and incident trends. Provide support in a 24x7x365 operational environment (including off-hours rotation).
