Cloud Security Engineer - Automation & DevSecOps

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or equivalent tools.
- Implement security automation and policy-as-code solutions for cloud environments.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Configure cloud-native logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Support IAM implementation and cloud access governance activities.
- Assist with cloud network security configuration and monitoring.
- Develop automated compliance validation and remediation workflows.
- Support incident response automation and operational security improvements.
- Create technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cloud architects and security teams to implement enterprise security controls.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevSecOps, or cloud security automation.
- 3 years of hands-on cloud security experience.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.
- Experience with IAM, cloud security controls, and governance practices.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, SIEM, and alerting solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevSecOps implementation.
- Strong scripting and automation experience.
Preferences:
- Experience supporting government or public-sector cloud initiatives.
- Familiarity with CSPM and cloud compliance tools.
- Experience with AI/ML security governance or automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or related field may be preferred.
- Relevant cloud and security certifications are preferred (AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform).
