Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Solution Architect to design, develop, and manage robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable architecture and guiding cross-functional teams in the successful implementation of cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
:
Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop cloud solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Lead cloud migration efforts from on-premises to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Develop and document cloud architecture standards, blueprints, and best practices.
Provide technical leadership to engineering and development teams on cloud strategy.
Optimize cloud infrastructure costs and performance.
Ensure security compliance, monitoring, and governance across cloud environments.
Conduct proof-of-concepts and evaluate cloud services/tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Stay current with cloud trends, certifications, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in IT with at least 3+ years in cloud architecture.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
Deep understanding of networking, security, identity and access management in the cloud.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
Background in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Understanding of serverless architecture and microservices design.
Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance) a plus.
