The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Solution Architect (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in enterprise-grade cloud solutions, cloud computing models, and deployment strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of security, compliance, and cost management in the cloud, with hands-on experience in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade cloud solutions tailored to meet organizational needs.
• Develop and execute cloud migration strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Optimize cloud performance and cost efficiency across various cloud platforms.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and developers.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry best practices.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures and solutions.
 

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
• Experience: 7+ years in enterprise architecture, with a significant focus on cloud solutions.

• Clearance: TS/SCI


Advanced Expertise:
• Enterprise-grade cloud solutions
• Cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment models (public, private, hybrid)
• Cloud migration strategies and performance optimization
• Security, compliance, and cost management in the cloud
• Hybrid and multi-cloud environments
• Proficient in tools like Terraform and CloudFormation

Required Certifications:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect – Associate or Expert
• CompTIA Security+

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$113,200 - $237,800
