Everforth ECS is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to work remotely.

ECS is looking for a Solution Architect who is passionate about automation, enterprise transformation, and continuously driving innovation. Strong candidates will have a desire to modernize existing architecture and establish innovative new architectures, while driving strategic initiatives that take advantage of modern approaches to technology, business delivery, and data.

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing sustainable cloud architectures in AWS and other Cloud Service Provides, while also supporting and building teams that will operate those architectures. They will play a strategic role in painting a vision while merging technical, business, and customer needs into achievable objectives and driving the completion of those objectives. As an expert in delivering technical projects, the Solutions Architect will identify challenges and improvements, then help a multi functional team solution and deliver those improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently applies a wide set of engineering disciplines for planning, design, analysis, coding, testing, roll-out and support of information systems architectures.
  • Continuously optimizing AWS Cloud platform services across all integration points.
  • Interact closely with key project stakeholders to design, plan and implement operationally sustainable solutions.
  • Work closely with the technical team to deliver proposed designs.
  • Provide thought and design leadership.
  • Serve as a technical SME for cloud services, providers, and platforms.
  • Lead solution architecting sessions evaluating trade offs between design, risk, and cost.
  • Problem solve challenges as they arise.
  • Adapt designs to new requirements or discoveries.
  • Leverage data driven approach to continuous solution, organization, and workforce improvement.
  • Optimizes performance across multiple teams by suggesting delivery process transformation towards evolving best practices based on each team and project context.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000
