Job Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in cloud solution architecture with a focus on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem.
- Proficiency in Amazon Bedrock and architecting production-grade Generative AI environments.
- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) including document chunking, embedding, and semantic retrieval workflows.
- Experience with vector search strategies utilizing Amazon OpenSearch or specialized vector database technologies.
- Experience in designing agentic workflows and tool-calling patterns for secure enterprise data interaction.
- Experience with healthcare data environments requiring PHI security, HIPAA compliance, and complex medical record integration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for delivering technical roadmaps and architectural designs to stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Architect scalable RAG solutions using Amazon Bedrock to facilitate secure access to unstructured healthcare information.
- Design comprehensive technical roadmaps for migrating legacy conversational tools to advanced Generative AI platforms.
- Engineer high-performance document ingestion and indexing pipelines for pharmacy, medical policy, and plan datasets.
- Implement agentic patterns and tool-calling functions to synchronize AI capabilities with internal enterprise APIs.
- Develop sophisticated prompt engineering strategies to optimize retrieval quality, response relevance, and source attribution.
- Configure robust AI guardrails and controls to minimize hallucinations and prevent unauthorized information exposure.
- Produce technical architecture diagrams, data flow models, and formal design specifications for engineering workstreams.
