With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team.Responsibilities but not limited to:Designs and defines architectures for future-state IT capabilities and servicesWork with stakeholders to facilitate alignment of business strategies, operational processes, and IT strategies related to future-state architecture changesLeverage enterprise methodologies and DoW standardsUtilize data to develop architecture models, visualizations, and analyses to clearly articulate the current and future needsAnalyzes customer needs and provides guidance on industry trends and opportunitiesIdentifying and documenting architectural requirements supporting future Enterprise needs, including goals, approach, Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), and desired end state for each milestoneResearch and propose products, systems, and solutions that meet functional and technical requirements or recommendationsResponsible for developing high level system design diagramsEvaluates analytically and systematically problems with workflows, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective actionsPrepare assessments, point papers, briefings, and executive presentations to contribute architectural support documents for leadershipQualifications Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical15+ years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysisMust possess and maintain a US Top Secret/SCI Security ClearanceMust meet 8140 IAT Level 3 certification requirementsMust have extensive experience (10+ years) in design and implementation of zero trust environmentsZero Trust Technologies and PillarsMicro-segmentationICAM/PKI such as PingDirectory, PingFederate, SailPointSoftware-defined perimetersEncryption types such as Type1 and CSfCCisco and Juniper networking devices and protocolsCisco and Palo Alto FirewallsIntrusion detection systems (IDS)Security information and event management (SIEM) solutionsEndpoint detection and response (EDR) toolsNetwork Management, monitoring and scanning tools such as SolarWinds, ServiceNow, OpenNMS, Nessus, SplunkNetApp Storage SystemsVirtualization such as VMware vCenter, VMware vSphereMicrosoft suite of OS, tools/application, and services
