This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Homewood Mountain & Lake Club, set on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe in Homewood, California.

Homewood is seeking a Club Services Associate to join the Club Operations Department.

The Club Services Associate is one of the most active, visible roles at Homewood, supporting Member Services and Residential Services, with Outdoor Pursuits in the mix too. It's a role built for variety: one moment you're prepping a residence for a member's arrival, the next you're helping bring a club activation to life or setting a guest up for a day on the mountain or lake. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in preparation, execution, and service. The Club Services Associate works across departments to ensure club spaces, residences, equipment, and experiences are consistently maintained and delivered to the highest standards.
 

Working closely with department leaders, the Club Services Associate helps bring the Homewood Club experience to life, one detail, one interaction, and one great day at a time. It's a role for someone who genuinely enjoys people and wants to be the friendly face members and guests remember.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Club Operations & Experience Support
  • Support daily club activations across multiple Club operations departments.
  • Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of club experiences, programs, and events.
  • Ensure club spaces are clean, organized, stocked, and prepared for member use.
  • Support as needed across Club and Resort services.
  • Provide general support to ensure a seamless and elevated member experience throughout the day.
     
• Member and Residential Services Support
  • Perform weekly residential checks and report on home condition, readiness, and service needs.
  • Assist with home staging and preparation for member arrivals and departures.
  • Support housekeeping needs such as stocking, and basic property readiness tasks.
  • Assist with preparation of homes and spaces for real estate tours and sales experiences.
  • Communicate observations, needs, and service updates to the Homewood Facilities Team.
     
• Outdoor Pursuits Support
  • Assist with preparation, setup, and breakdown of Outdoor Pursuits activities and equipment when requested.
  • Support guides and team members in delivering safe, organized, and high-quality experiences.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of Outdoor Pursuits facilities and gear.
     
• Transportation, Vehicles & Equipment
  • Assist with staging, movement, and basic upkeep of company and guest vehicles.
  • Support operations involving recreational equipment as needed.
  • Ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, fueled/charged, and ready for use.
     
• General Operations & Team Support
  • Support in setting the standard for daily execution and service.
  • Assist department leads with daily operational needs across the property.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail in all work areas.
  • Identify and communicate service gaps, safety concerns, or maintenance needs.
  • Assist with special projects, events, and operational initiatives as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in hospitality, outdoor recreation, property operations, or a related field preferred.
• Strong work ethic with a hands-on, team-first mentality.
• Ability to work across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay organized and effective while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.

The Company’s good faith estimate of the hourly rate it expects to pay for this role is $24-$28 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
