The Buffalo Grove Park District is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Clubhouse team, providing before and after school care for elementary-aged children. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact while working in a fun and supportive environment. Opportunities for continued employment as a summer camp counselor may also be available.

Position Summary
The Clubhouse Recreation Leader is responsible for supervising and engaging participants in daily program activities at their assigned Clubhouse location. Responsibilities include leading games, crafts, and recreational activities; assisting with snack setup and cleanup; supporting lesson plan implementation; and helping create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants. The ideal candidate is mature, responsible, enthusiastic, and enjoys working with children. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as Recreation Leaders regularly interact with participants, families, coworkers, and school personnel.

Morning Shift:
6:45 AM – 7:45 AM, 8:15 AM or 9:00 AM

Afternoon Shift: 
2:15 PM, 2:45 PM or 3:15 PM - 6:00 PM

Starting Wage
$16.00+ per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
