Predominantly, the work involves installation and troubleshooting of Linux based machines and clusters but may also include some Windows based efforts. The candidate will provide systems level troubleshooting of production and preproduction servers and software to support research projects. A level of independence and problem solving is required. Development of scripts for automation of cluster provisioning and configuration may be required. In addition, the maintenance includes support for users of the systems, internal documentation of practices, and general operation and maintenance of the lab spaces.
