Summary:
Overseeing and answering questions from coordinators while making decisions on authorizations in lieu of a manager. In this position you will support event managers by confirming, coding, and processing reservations in multiple reservation systems.
Responsibilities:
• Turnover Process: Making systems more “Marriott Place”; adding overflow/multiple hotels to each booking in MARSHA and Passkey and responsible for Select Service Convention Calendar
• Oversee Coordinators in completing coversheets/resumes in timely manger
• Passkey Controller: Uploading Campaigns/Smart Alerts, controlling bundles/libraries, checking inventory, cleaning out reservation errors prior to weekly SCRUB meetings, etc.
• Lead for direct bill: handle all direct bill requests and check availability along with making these reservations and communicate with accounting for direct bill approval.
• Control Room Type Inventory between all properties
• Review and charge group No-Shows for JW
• Creating LSOP’s for Group Housing Department as “Marriott Place” Lead for Eli Lilly and NCAA for JW. Oversee the process and execution of NCAA and Lilly for Select Service Properties
• Manage rooms-only blocks
• Within a year, have Supervisor and Coordinators trained on all systems including: Passkey, MARSHA, PMS, Fosse, Delphi, and CI-TY
• Manage CREW Lines: Southwest & Fedex Monthly
• Assisting Event Managers in making sure all coversheets/resumes are accurate; weekly check
• Ensure all variance reports, around the block audits, and final pickup reports are accurate
• Weekly audit of groups being built in Passkey, MARSHA, PMS, and Fosse
• Responsible for Group Housing Coordinator schedules and vacations and be the lead in the event of any absences

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
College Degree preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS
Requires sitting at a desk for 8-10 hours a day working mostly on a computer and answering phones.
