As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents, contributing to a nurturing and supportive environment.

- **Medication Administration:** Accurately administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and individual care plans, ensuring proper dosage and timing.

- **Documentation:** Maintain meticulous records of medication administration, observing and reporting any changes in patients' conditions to appropriate healthcare staff.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents.
- **Resident Support:** Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed, promoting their independence and dignity.
- **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures related to medication administration and resident care.
- **Education:** Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to maintain certification and enhance skills.

**Qualifications:**

- Current and valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with residents and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
