Job Summary:
Tryfacta is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) for our client in Seattle, WA. This is a 6 months contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!

Position Title: Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C)
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 6 months
Work Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM 6:00 PM) on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesdays and weekends off.



Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join a busy pediatric outpatient clinic in Seattle, WA. This is a 6-month contract position with strong potential for extension. The role is open to local, non-local, and travel candidates. First-time travelers are welcome.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience supporting both patients and providers in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Room patients and prepare them for examination
  • Record patient history, medications, and allergies
  • Obtain and document vital signs
  • Perform hearing and vision screenings
  • Assist providers during exams and procedures
  • Administer immunizations and TB tests
  • Perform procedures such as nebulizer treatments and suture removal
  • Collect and label specimens (throat swabs, urine, venipuncture)
  • Conduct blood glucose testing using a glucometer
  • Manage pharmacy calls and medication refill requests
  • Handle telephone triage and follow-up calls
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Requirements -

  • Active Washington Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license ( required)
    • Note: MA-R, MA-P, and MA-HT certifications are not accepted
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an MA-C in an adult outpatient clinic
  • Strong clinical and patient care skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
  • Experience with EPIC EMR (preferred but not required)
