Responsibilities

• Perform CMA duties in outpatient settings to support patient flow and care.

• Accurately document patient visits and clinical notes in EMR systems.

• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy, and safety standards.

• Monitor vital signs and identify urgent conditions requiring escalation.

• Assist physicians with examinations and routine procedures as needed.

• Coordinate patient appointments to optimize clinic throughput and reduce wait times.

• Utilize data and pipelines to track performance against clinic targets.

• Engage in ongoing learning to advance clinical skills and professional growth.

• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members to ensure expectations are met.

• Ensure accurate coding and billing information to support revenue cycles.

• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

Experience/Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with outpatient clinical experience

• Proficient EMR/documentation and accurate clinical note entry

• Vital signs monitoring with ability to identify urgent conditions

• Excellent communication with patients, families, and team

• Strong knowledge of privacy, safety, and healthcare compliance

• Appointment coordination to optimize clinic throughput

• Accurate coding and billing data entry for revenue cycle

• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and pursue professional growth

• Assist physicians with examinations and routine procedures

• Data-driven mindset; track performance against clinic targets
