Location: Miami, FL. This is a hybrid opportunity with meaningful flexibility. Attorneys are expected to maintain an active presence in the Miami office, but there is no fixed number of required in-office days.

Job Description
- Draft and negotiate sophisticated commercial real estate finance transaction documents.
- Handle finance agreements, loan modifications, consents, assumptions, extensions, forbearances, workouts, and related documentation.
- Advise CMBS loan servicers, special servicers, and institutional lenders on performing and non-performing loans.
- Work on complex loan sales, asset dispositions, restructurings, and other debt-related transactions.
- Analyze loan documents, servicing issues, borrower requests, defaults, and workout strategies.
- Manage matters involving office, retail, multifamily, hospitality, self-storage, healthcare, and other commercial real estate assets.
- Coordinate with clients, borrowers, opposing counsel, consultants, and other stakeholders throughout complex transactions.
- Provide practical, strategic guidance on legal and business issues affecting commercial real estate loans nationwide.
Qualifications
- Florida Bar admission or eligibility for admission required.
- 6+ years of commercial real estate finance experience.
- Significant experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated finance agreements and related transaction documents.
- Experience with modifications, consents, workouts, restructurings, or similar commercial loan matters.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- CMBS industry experience preferred.
- Major law firm experience preferred.
- Spanish language skills preferred.
