CMM Operator – Romer Arm / PC-DMIS
\nUnited CNC Machining is seeking an experienced CMM Operator to perform first article, in-process and final inspections of precision-machined aerospace and defense components.
\nResponsibilities:
\n• Operate Hexagon Romer/Roamer Arm or equivalent portable CMM
\n• Create, edit and run PC-DMIS inspection programs
\n• Perform first article, in-process and final inspections
\n• Complete AS9102 FAI reports
\n• Interpret blueprints, GD&T and customer specifications
\n• Document results and identify nonconformances
\n• Work with machinists, programmers and Quality to resolve dimensional issues
\n• Maintain AS9100D/ISO 9001 and ITAR compliance
\nQualifications:
\n• 3+ years portable CMM arm experience (Romer/Roamer, FARO or similar)
\n• Proficient in PC-DMIS programming and operation
\n• Strong GD&T and blueprint-reading skills
\n• Aerospace/defense inspection experience preferred
\n• AS9102 experience preferred
\n• Familiarity with standard inspection equipment
\n• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
\n• U.S. Person status required for ITAR compliance
\nPhysical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift approximately 25–35 lbs.
