CMM Operator (with CNC Experience) – Direct Hire Location: Marion, IN Pay: $27–$31/hour (based on experience) Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pro Resources is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Marion, IN to hire a skilled CMM Operator for a direct hire opportunity. This is a great role for someone with strong inspection experience who also enjoys working hands-on with CNC equipment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Set up and operate CMM equipment to inspect parts and assemblies
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD data
Perform dimensional inspections using tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
Create or edit CMM inspection programs
Document and communicate inspection results, assisting with troubleshooting when needed
Support production by operating CNC machines for part manufacturing or rework
Perform setups, tool changes, and basic program adjustments or offsets
Maintain equipment and ensure calibration records are up to date
Assist with continuous improvement efforts within the quality department
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of CMM experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with CNC machines (setup and/or program adjustments)
Strong understanding of GD&T and mechanical drawings
Experience with CMM programming/software
Ability to use standard inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Solid computer and math skills
Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and team-first attitude
Experience with Fanuc or Haas controls is a plus
