Join Our Team as a CMM Operator/Programmer, Parts Inspector A – $50.00/hour

We are seeking a highly skilled CMM Operator/Programmer and Parts Inspector A to play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of complex aerospace components. In this role, you will perform detailed inspections, operate sophisticated Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), develop inspection routines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest quality standards. Your skills will directly contribute to the production of critical aerospace propulsion parts and assemblies.

What You Bring:
  • Proven experience operating and programming CMM equipment, particularly Zeiss Calypso software
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and inspection procedures
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and interpreting specifications
  • Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and develop new inspection routines
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Capable of working in various physical environments, including outdoor and indoor settings
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment such as hoists and cranes
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork orientation

Nice to Have:
  • Previous experience with inspection of aerospace propulsion components
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Additional certifications related to quality or aerospace manufacturing

Preferred Education & Experience:
  • High School diploma required; Technical certification or Trade School coursework is a plus
  • 3-5 years of relevant direct experience in CMM inspection and programming

Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and operate material handling devices safely
  • Willingness to work varying shifts and hours, including travel as needed
  • Pre-employment medical screening (reimbursed)
  • U.S. citizenship required; no dual citizenship accepted
  • Ability to work in environments with variable noise levels and wear safety equipment
