We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our quality assurance team and help ensure our products meet exacting specifications.Position Overview:The CMM Programmer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs to inspect complex aerospace components. This role requires a strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and aerospace quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Develop and optimize CMM programs using industry-standard software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso)Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision componentsInterpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirementsAnalyze inspection data and generate detailed reportsCollaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issuesMaintain calibration and ensure proper functioning of inspection equipmentSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to inspection processesQualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of CMM programming experience, preferably in the aerospace industryProficiency with CMM software (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar)Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint readingExperience with CAD models and metrology toolsKnowledge of aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100) is preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Skills:Experience with multi-axis or complex geometriesFamiliarity with statistical process control (SPC)Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-precision environmentWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and advancementHow to Apply:Please submit your resume to AVStar Fuel Systems Inc. via indeedJoin our team and play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of aerospace components worldwide.
