We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance CMM Technician with strong expertise in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to support precision manufacturing operations. This role is critical in ensuring product compliance with engineering drawings and industry standards, including ASME Y14.5-2018.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), strong blueprint interpretation skills, and a solid understanding of tolerance analysis within aerospace, automotive, or other high-precision manufacturing environments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
CMM programming.
Upkeep of equipment.
Training/Overseeing the operation of CMM’s.
Serving as a leader in the quality department.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of CMM operation and programming experience
Strong working knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2018).
Experience performing dimensional inspections in a precision manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in high-precision manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of tolerance stack-up analysis.
Familiarity with ISO quality standards.
Experience with statistical process control (SPC).
