CMM Programmer / Inspector

This is an ideal position for a mid level Programmer / Inspector who want to use his/her existing skills and progressively learn more of the trade.

In this role, you'll be programming and operating our CMM machines. You'll be working in a climate-controlled environment and will be responsible for in-process and final inspections.

2 years CMM programming experience
Knowledge of PC-DMIS to verify dimensional compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and product specifications to ensure accurate dimensional inspection and compliance with quality requirements
Perform manual dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection to incorporate measurement data in the preparation of inspection and quality reports
Investigate and resolve dimensional and measurement-related issues by collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
Support continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing inspection programs to improve accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability
In addition, any experience in any of the following would be considered highly benefic

Programming and operating Optical Vision Measuring Systems (VMS) for dimensional inspection
Generating First Article Inspection (FAI) Reports in accordance with customer and quality requirements
Calibrating internal inspection tools and measuring equipment and maintaining accurate calibration records
