CMM Programmer/Operator
Location: Poway, CA Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM3:30 PM Pay: $30$45/hour, depending on experience
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced CMM Operator/Programmer to support quality inspection and programming for precision-manufactured components. This role will develop and execute CMM programs, perform inspections, interpret blueprints and GD&T, and work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Responsibilities
Program, operate, validate, and troubleshoot CMM equipment.
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
Inspect parts using CMMs, micrometers, calipers, gauges, and comparators.
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, specifications, and CAD models.
Prepare inspection, first-article, and customer reports.
Perform incoming material and final inspections.
Support PPAP requirements, audits, and corrective actions.
Troubleshoot measurement and quality issues and assist with root-cause analysis.
Enter inspection and production data into ERP and other systems.
Follow applicable quality, safety, and AS9100 procedures.
Qualifications
3+ years CMM operating experience and 1+ year CMM programming experience.
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
Experience with precision inspection equipment.
Knowledge of CAD models and inspection processes.
Strong math, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred: Aerospace manufacturing/quality experience, AS9100 knowledge, CNC machining experience, and a technical or engineering degree.
