We are seeking a full-time CMM Programmer who possesses both excellent work habits and prior quality lab experience.
What you will do:
- Create CMM Programs for Zeiss and Hexagon machines.
- Conduct visual and dimensional tests to ensure quality of products in process, receiving, first article, and finished goods.
- Determine and use appropriate inspection processes to confirm assigned products and parts meet specifications.
- Read blueprints and specifications in metric and imperial to ensure that operations meet required standards.
- Determine whether parts not meeting specifications can be salvaged and recommend any changes.
- Confirm and approve the quality of finished parts.
- Document measured results of machining operations.
- Create and maintain measurement reports for internal and customer quality.
- Assist production with deburring and assembly as needed.
Your profile:
- CMM programming experience is required, 3+ year preferred.
- Knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- ISO 9000 or AS 9100 experience is extremely preferred.
