    We are a Department of Defense Federal Contractor

    • Must be US Citizen
    • Must have clean criminal record (No felonies)
    • Must be able to pass a drug test

    Role Focus

    • Verification: Confirm conformance of castings, forgings, machined parts, and assemblies to blueprints and specifications
    • Metrology: Operate CMMs and precision tools (micrometers, calipers, V‑blocks, sine bars, dial indicators, gauge blocks, height gages, optical comparators, bore gages, ultrasonic equipment, profilometer)
    • Analysis: Compute angles, radii, and derived dimensions using shop math and formulas
    • First‑Article: Perform first-run inspections for fabrications and assemblies
    • Reporting: Produce clear inspection and test result documentation
    • Layout: Position parts on a surface plate; create reference points and centerlines
    • Corrective Insight: Evaluate nonconformances and recommend improvements

    Schedule

    • First shift only: 10-hour shifts; start between 5:00–6:00 a.m.

    What You Bring

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Approximately 2 years of quality inspection experience preferred (manufacturing environment; aerospace/defense exposure ideal)
    • Training in SPC data collection/evaluation preferred
    • Strong problem-solving track record
    • Meets visual standards: Jaeger 1 at 12" (with corrective lenses) and Ishihara color vision; annual exams
    • Must be 18 years of age or older

    • GD&T interpretation
    • Statistical Process Control (SPC)
    • NADCAP familiarity
    • Advanced inspection and gauge measurement
    • Blueprint literacy

    Equipment

    • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
    • Measurement gauges
    • Calipers and micrometers
