CMM Quality Inspector - 1st Shift

Job Title: CMM Quality Inspector Pay range: $27 - $35/hr. Job Description: - The CMM Quality Inspector supports Quality Engineering by inspecting mechanical components, subassemblies, and assemblies in a precision aerospace manufacturing environment. - Responsibilities include dimensional, visual, functional, receiving, in-process, and final inspection - Setting up parts and running existing PC-DMIS or equivalent CMM programs; - Interpreting results and performing basic troubleshooting; reading engineering drawings and quality specifications; - Using calipers, micrometers, pin gages, microscopes, and other precision tools; - Identifying discrepant material and initiating nonconformance documentation; - Maintaining inspection records; completing AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports as assigned; - Reviewing final-inspection documentation; - Supporting calibrated-tool control; and communicating inspection issues with production and Quality Engineering. - CMM programming is not required. - Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, approximately three years of frequent hands-on CMM operation, independent operation of existing CMM programs, precision-measurement proficiency, and technical-drawing interpretation. - Optional overtime may be available based on business needs.
