CNA for Special Needs Student –Philadelphia Area School District

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Rate: $28/hr
Start: 8/31/26

Focal Point Medical Staffing is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide 1:1 support for a special needs student within the Philadelphia Area School District. This is a 7th Grade Male with Cerebral Palsy. He is wheelchair bound and unable to bear weight. 

Position Responsibilities

• Assist with changing, toileting, and hygiene

• Provide feeding assistance

• Assist with mobility and transfers via hoyer lift

• Ensure safety and supervision throughout the school day

• Support classroom participation under teacher or nurse direction

Requirements

• Active CNA listed on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry

• Pediatric experience required

• Experience working with special needs or medically fragile children preferred

• Strong communication, patience, and reliability

• CPR/First Aid required

• Clean background and Drug screening
