CNA/Caregiver/Personal Care Aid- Days/Overnights

Job Summary:Senior Helpers of West Oahu is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors in our community. As a Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help ensure their safety and comfort at home. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families.Key Responsibilities:Provide companionship and emotional support to clientsAssist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toiletingAssist with mobility, transfers, and ambulationProvide medication reminders according to the care planPrepare light meals and assist with feeding when necessaryPerform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and maintaining a tidy living environmentAccompany Clients To Appointments Or Errands If RequiredMonitor and report any changes in a client’s physical or mental condition to supervisorsMaintain accurate documentation of care provided and daily activitiesFollow all company policies, procedures, and client care plansQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious caregiving, home care, or healthcare experience preferred but not requiredCNA certification is a plus but not requiredCompassionate, patient, and reliable personalityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow care plans and instructionsReliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferredAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients up to 50 lbs using proper techniquesAbility to stand, walk, bend, and assist clients for extended periodsAbility to work in various home environmentsBenefits:Competitive hourly payFlexible scheduling (day, evening, weekend shifts available)Paid training and ongoing professional developmentSupportive and team-oriented work environmentOpportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors in the West Oahu communityAbout Senior Helpers of West Oahu:Senior Helpers of West Oahu provides high-quality, compassionate in-home care services designed to help seniors maintain independence and dignity while living safely at home.
