Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transferring of patients
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care for patients
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an approved training program
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of caregiving techniques and working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism
License/Certification:
- CNA/SRNA/GNA License (Required)
