CNA/CMA Adolescent/Young Adult Complex Medical (All-Shifts)

Description

Join our compassionate team in our Inpatient Complex Medical program, where we provide around-the-clock care in a warm, family-centered environment. We support individuals aged 15-30 who are unable to live at home due to their complex medical needs, helping each individual thrive in a safe and caring setting.

Available Schedule/Benefits

• Full-Time Days - 3 shifts per week, 6:00am-6:00pm, every 3rd weekend
• Part-Time Days - 2 shifts per week, 6:00am-6:00pm, every 6th weekend
• Full-Time Nights - 3 shifts per week, 6:00pm-6:00am, every 3rd weekend
• Benefit eligible including medical, dental, vision plans, retirement with company match and generous PTO accrual including front-loaded PTO

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Assist with daily care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while honoring each child’s privacy and dignity.
• Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure each child’s unique needs are met.
• Help children look and feel their best by maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and readiness for scheduled activities.
• Support families by sharing updates and reinforcing care techniques that promote each child’s progress and well-being.
• Accurately document care provided and maintain compliance with ChildServe policies and professional standards.

What You’ll Need

• Active DIA certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Iowa.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 90 days and before working independently. 
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
