What You'll Do

As a CNA, you'll play a vital role in supporting our residents' daily lives by:

  • Providing routine daily nursing care in accordance with care plans
  • Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care)
  • Monitoring residents and reporting changes in condition to nursing staff
  • Taking and recording vital signs (TPRs), weights, and food/fluid intake
  • Answering call lights promptly and ensuring resident comfort and safety
  • Assisting with mobility: lifting, turning, repositioning, and transporting residents
  • Supporting admissions, transfers, and discharges with care and professionalism
  • Maintaining accurate, timely documentation
  • Creating a warm, respectful, and positive environment for residents and families

Your Responsibilities

  • Follow all facility policies, safety protocols, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Report incidents, concerns, or changes in resident condition immediately
  • Use proper identification procedures before providing care or services
  • Ensure residents' rooms are clean, safe, and welcoming
  • Protect resident dignity, privacy, and rights at all times
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary teams

What We're Looking For

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
  • CPR certification (preferred)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, dependable, and attentive to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10th-grade education
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret instructions and procedures

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and assisting residents
  • Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
